New Zealand born Graham McLeod’s career in aviation started in the RNZAF, where he initially trained as an electrician, before transferring to aircrew, and qualifying as a pilot. After completing his commission with the RNZAF, Graham crossed the Tasman, to join the RAAF, where he served a tour in Vietnam, with the Headquarters at Nui Dat. On completion of his military service, Graham transferred to civil aviation, flying for Air New Zealand, All Nippon, Mandarin, and Air Pacific.

After flying the world for 40 years, Graham and his wife Ivy moved to Buderim and joined U3A  in 2004. continue reading…
